DENVER - The Denver Coroner's office said the cause of death of an infant found unresponsive the Salvation Army shelter Tuesday is unclear.
"We found absolutely no trauma or disease process. The cause of death is pending further investigation. We will be doing a series of lab tests," said Don Bell with the Denver Coroner's office.
The 5-month-old boy has been identified as Kyree Harrell.
Bell said it was not unusual for investigators not to find anything initially while looking into the death of a small child.
