WALSENBURG, Colo. (AP) - Two men wanted in Colorado Springs on burglary charges have been arrested after police say they crashed their car in Huerfano County and walked away.
Colorado Springs police say Nathaniel Gonzales and Gino Rael are accused of burglarizing more than a dozen homes in Colorado Springs and at least three more in the Security-Widefield area.
The men were arrested after they were found walking along northbound I-25 Wednesday morning.
Walsenburg Police Capt. Vince Suarez says the men rolled their car while traveling at high speed through Walsenburg.
When police arrived, they learned the men had freed themselves from the damaged car and they ran away.
