KUSA - A Colorado man was at a low point in his life a few years ago, now on Saturday, he is planning on setting a world record by running the greatest distance on a treadmill in 12 hours.
David Clark used to weigh 320 pounds and have food addictions and abused substances such as alcohol. Clark has turned his life around and is on a mission to bring more awareness to the obesity epidemic and help prevent substance abuse.
He is doing this with a small foundation he created named the Superman Project. Anybody who is struggling with obesity or substance abuse is welcomed to join.
Clark had to take baby steps to get to where he is today. The baby steps turned into bigger steps and now he is breaking boundaries and trying to help others fight their struggles by sending a positive message and hope to many.
