BRANSON, Mo. (AP) - It's the second time in less than two months that a large jet has landed at the wrong airport.
This time, it was a Southwest Airlines flight that was supposed to land at Branson Airport in southwest Missouri. It instead landed at another airport about 7 miles away, with a much shorter runway.
One passenger tells a Dallas TV station (WFAA) that he could feel the pilot slam on the brakes. No one was hurt among the 124 passengers and five crew.
In November, a Boeing 747 carrying aircraft parts landed at the wrong airport in Kansas.
