KUSA - Denver Broncos cornerback Chris Harris Jr. will be out for the rest of the playoffs because of a knee injury, coach John Fox said Monday morning.
Harris tore the ACL in his left knee, Fox said.
"There's no doubt he's one of our better performer on defense throughout the season," Fox said.
Harris posted Monday morning on Twitter (@ChrisHarrisJr): "Thanks for the prayers , Gonna work extremely hard and come back a Monster next year . God is on my side. #broncosup"
Then Harris followed up with: "Blessed to be able to help the team get this Far , and will still do my part in meeting room to help my guys out"
He was injured in the third quarter Sunday night in the win against San Diego. Harris limped off the field after being injured away from the ball. After the game the Broncos listed him with knee and ankle injuries.
"It's another disappointment for us," linebacker Paris Lenon said Monday morning. "He's been huge part of the team and the defense."
