KUSA - Monday at Sports Authority field they were doing the Shear Vein Test, a test that determines how hard of a turn a million-dollar-athlete can make before the grass gives way.
If the field is too soft, they water it less. If the field is too hard, they water it more. This is all part of the lead-up to the game on Sunday.
The turf at Sports Authority Field at Mile-High has to be in perfect shape, as it always is on game day. But this is a short turn-around between two very important dates on the NFL calendar.
