ARVADA - Kipling Parkway at Ridge Road will be reduced to two lanes starting Jan. 20 through the end of March because of the Gold Line opening in 2016.
The City of Arvada says the inside lanes, closest to the median, will be blocked off by concrete barriers to allow construction of two new railroad bridges.
According to Denver Transit Constructors, this may be an issue for in particularly morning and rush hour traffic in Arvada. It may also cause delays near Interstate 70 and Kipling Interchange in Wheat Ridge.
It is recommended to take different routes including Wadsworth Boulevard and Ward Road.
