DENVER - Denver Broncos playoff games means big bucks for the City of Denver, and the Chamber of Commerce says the city is cashing in on football right now.

"Winning teams bring in more money economically because people will travel to visit," Kelly Brough, the President and CEO of the Denver Chamber of Commerce, said.

Sunday's AFC Championship has visitors traveling in from all over the country to be a part of Broncos fever.

Although the city doesn't have exact numbers of how much money is coming in, they have studied stats from other cities.

Brough said the city sees anywhere from $20 million to $40 million per playoff game. Staying on the modest side, Brough said with the playoff games, the city is probably seeing at least $60 million coming in.

"People travel without tickets," Brough said. "We have some of highest priced tickets since 2009. It's great for Colorado."
