Man pleads guilty to bias-motivated assault

KUSA - A 20-year-old man accused of assaulting two men outside a Denver hookah bar last September pleaded guilty Friday in the case.

Tilo Sandoval pleaded guilty to assault and bias-motivated crime for attacking two men because he thought they were gay.

He also pleaded guilty to two counts of felony menacing in an earlier case.

Sandoval faces up to nine years in prison when he's sentenced on February 28.
