FOUNTAIN, Colo. (AP) - Authorities are asking for the public's help in finding a driver who was involved in a hit-and-run crash that injured a pedestrian in Fountain.

Police Sgt. Thomas Coates says officers were called to the area of South Highway 85 and Cattail Marsh Road at about 11:40 p.m. Saturday. The 44-year-old victim, whose name has not been released, was taken to a hospital with injuries to his left side. His condition has not been released.

Police say the vehicle that hit the man is believed to be a truck and should have damage to the passenger side front headlight area.
