DENVER - Bars and nightclubs in downtown Denver may be able to stay open longer.
A new proposal would allow them to stay open and serve alcohol until 7 a.m.
The bill's sponsor tells the Denver Post the law aims at helping the city deal with unruly crowds that leave bars in droves.
Under the proposal, some cities could determine their own hours for alcohol sales.
