KUSA - Winds will whip up and down the Urban Corridor and along the Eastern Plains Monday, according to the Colorado weather forecast.
A Wind Advisory is in place for Yuma and Kit Carson counties as well as Western Kansas and Nebraska until 5 p.m. Blowing dust and tumbleweeds could be a problem especially along Interstate 70.
For the Eastern Plains, northwesterly winds between 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph are possible through Monday evening before tapering off overnight.
In Denver, wind speeds will be between 10 to 20 mph, with gusts up to 30 mph.
Daytime highs will be cooler in comparison to Sunday's sunshine and 65 degrees. Highs will climb to the upper 40s Monday afternoon.
Warmer weather is on the way Tuesday, as Denver flirts with 60 degrees once again.
