DENVER - It's been a long, long time since an NFL title game has been played in the metropolitan area. In fact, the last time it happened was on Dec. 30, 1962. During that game, the Packers defeated the Giants.

Also, this will be the first time a number 1 scoring offense team will face a number 1 scoring defense team in the Super Bowl in more than 20 years. The last time it happened was in 1990. Back then, the Giants crushed the Bills.

When it comes to quarterbacks for the Broncos and the Seahawks, each team has a different character. Peyton Manning is 37 and almost has a fifth league MVP award. The Seahawks' Russell Wilson is 25 years old. And although he is a talented QB, he was only 9 when Manning was drafted in 1998.

This will be the Seahawks second time at a Super Bowl. They made it to the Super Bowl after the 2005 season, but lost to the Steelers. The Broncos have won the Super Bowl twice.

Both coaches from the Seahawks and the Broncos spent a year as defensive assistants at Iowa State. Regardless of who wins the Super Bowl, expect Iowa State to tout both men.

Finally, the Seahawks mascot is "Taima" the hawk. Taima actually means "thunder," which as we all know is the name of the Broncos mascot.
