KUSA - Yes, Mike Adams we are talking about practice - I mean, the cold.
"Cold? We're talking about the Super Bowl," the Broncos safety answered quizzically Thursday. Though the conversation brought back memories of Allen Iverson's epic rant, the question about playing in the snow and chilly temperatures in New Jersey next Sunday was in earnest. MetLife Stadium and the surrounding area received several inches of snow Tuesday night and into Wednesday.
"I'm not worried about the cold, I promise you that. Weren't we practicing in like minus-3 degree weather here? So I'm definitely not worried about any cold weather," he continued.
Temperatures - much like the way they were for the Broncos first practice in preparation for the Seahawks - should be close to freezing when the Super Bowl kicks off Sunday.
