KUSA - It was a record-breaking night for the National Western Stock Show Junior Livestock Auction Friday.

The grand champion steer hit a home run for Baylor Bonham of Newcastle, Oklahoma. The auction for the steer came to an end at $132,500, a new all time record for the Junior Livestock Auction.

It's the second steer Baylor has sold for more than $100,000 at the National Western in just the last two years.

The reserve grand champion went for $71,000.

Lauren Mays from Mineral Point, Wisconsin was overcome with emotion as the bidding just kept going.

This year, the reserve champ went for $26,000 more than last year.

The grand champion lamb this year went for $30,000.
