NEW YORK CITY- You will hear a lot of talk leading up to Super Bowl 48, but nowhere more than on what's called radio row.
UNITED IN ORANGE: Super Bowl XLVIII Special Coverage from 9NEWS - Home of the Broncos
It's a special section at the media hotel in New York City where all of the top sports talk show hosts from all over the country broadcast in the week leading up to the Super Bowl
Sandy Clough, from 104.3 The Fan, was having a slow day on Monday so he resorted to interviewing 9NEWS morning show anchor Gary Shapiro.
"Today was a day Gary, today was a hard day," Clough said. "But tomorrow will be another day, and it will be a better one."
Hundreds of radio talkers from around the country are in one huge ball room, doing their shows.
They are looking for the one guest, or the one story, that will blow the socks off the competition. They usually don't find it.
But they do get to talk to a lot of football players, and former football players.
Former CU Buff and New England Patriot Ted Johnson is now a sports talk show host in Houston.
He said what listeners really want to hear is lots of stories.
