Travis Garcia is a Fort Collins firefighter. His job is usually to put out fires, but during his time in New York City, his job is to keep an eye on fans at Super Bowl Boulevard in Times Square.

"We're here for security purposes. There's a lot of events. It's not just the game, that's kind of the finale to it all," Garcia said.

On every block in Times Square, there's at least one police car, two police officers and security.

Hundreds of police, firefighters and paramedics are needed for such a big event.

Garcia hopes all the security will help fans feel secure during a major sporting event.
