KUSA - Between the Broncos and Seahawks only four players have been to the Super Bowl, and all four are on Denver's roster. Which means there are a lot of "first timers" in Sunday's game. For some of those first timers, the Super Bowl isn't the only new adventure this week.

Steve Johnson has been to New York, but he's never been to the "Crossroads of the World."

"Well as a kid I came with my school and my mom on field trips," explains the Broncos second year linebacker. "We just walked around, went to the Statue of Liberty and stuff like that."

So with his own camera in hand, 9NEWS followed Steve in his adventure to Broadway and Time Square.

"It looks like a mini-Vegas from here," says Steve in awe. "[It's] pretty cool and a lot of activity."

Steve is no stranger to the East Coast, he grew up a couple hours from New York outside of Philadelphia. But Time Square is not Philly.

"It's a lot different, a whole lot more people than Philly. There's tall buildings, but we don't have tall buildings with huge TV's on them," he says with a smile.

Time Square is a jaw dropping sight on its own. However this week, with the addition of Super Bowl Boulevard - complete with a Lombardi trophy ice sculpture - it can leave someone downright speechless.

"It's weird because I used to watch all this stuff on TV when I was younger and I was like 'Man that's cool.' I'm not sure if it's hit me yet, but it will hit me on Sunday," he said.

Oh that's right, there's a game on Sunday. What better place to ask around and get some thoughts on Super Bowl 48? To watch Steve get random predictions on the game, from tourists that had no idea he was a Broncos player, watch the video above.
