KUSA - Sketch artist Leslie Clark doesn't use your typical canvas. All of her "Football Girl" sketches are done with her iPad.

This season, Leslie took finger to touch-screen and began sketching while watching football games.

While Leslie loves football now, that hasn't always been the case. Her husband of 38 years is a former University of Colorado football player.

They have three girls together, but after they left home, her husband had no one to watch his football games with. Since Leslie didn't want him to be lonely, she started watching with him and slowly began to understand and love the game.

It wasn't until this season that she started sketching "Football Girl."

Most of Leslie's "Football Girl" sketches are done as the game is played. Since Leslie's inspiration for "Football Girl" is herself, the sketches reflect her emotions as she watches the game.

During the Broncos-Patriots game, Leslie created 48 sketches, which she says helped keep her calm.

Leslie is an artist. She has illustrated several children's books for Harper Collins and helped design children's fabrics.

All of Leslie's "Football Girl" sketches are posted on her Facebook page and at http://footballgirl.co/
