KUSA - A former Littleton police officer is headed to federal prison.
Jefferey Johnston was sentenced Tuesday to four years in prison - followed by three years of supervised release - after pleading guilty to possession and distribution of Ecstasy.
Johnson served as a motorcycle officer for 22 years.
U.S. Attorney John Walsh released a statement saying that Johnston's involvement in trafficking illegal drugs, while also serving as a police officer, was "particularly disturbing."
