DENVER - Love is in the air, and the Dumb Friends League is celebrating with a Valentine's adoption event to help you, and a furry friend, find that perfect match.

From Friday through Monday, the Dumb Friends League is waiving the adoption fee for all the pets in its "Lonely Hearts Club"-a special club for the League's longer-term residents.

These are cats and dogs that need a little extra help getting noticed-maybe because they're older, or a little shy, or because they just blend in with the rest. For whatever reason, they've been overlooked, and this Valentine's Day you can give them the greatest gift by turning a lonely heart into a loving companion.

All adoptions from the Dumb Friends include spay or neuter services, medical examination, preliminary vaccinations, microchip identification implant, and a free office visit with a participating veterinarian.

To view the current members of the Lonely Hearts Club, visit the Dumb Friends League at or call 303-751-5772 for more information.
