KUSA - Trader Joe's open its doors for the first time Friday with three stores opening in Denver and Boulder.
The California-based chain will open a store at East 8th Avenue and Colorado Boulevard in Denver, a location at 5901 S. University Blvd. in Greenwood Village and a Boulder store at the Twenty Ninth Street Mall.
The excitement for the stores can be felt in the posts and comments in the "Bring Trader Joe's To Colorado!" Facebook group. Members have been sharing countdowns and information on the openings.

9NEWS Consumer Reporter Mark Koebrich says the lines are expected to be the longest at the store in Denver because it is the only store licensed to sell Two-Buck-Chuck and other spirits, including beer. Koebrich's latest report on Trader Joe's can be found here: http://on9news.tv/1orC7NZ.
