Carol Fox went to the 1984 games in Sarajevo with her ice dancing partner Richard Dalley. They didn't medal, but they finished a very respectable fifth place.
Like Meryl Davis and Charlie White, Fox and Dalley stayed partners for their entire ice dancing careers.
"I can't believe it's been 30 years. I can just identify with getting on the buses to go to the arena for opening ceremonies, and it was just amazing. It seems like it was just yesterday. The memories are crystal clear," Fox said.
After Fox's only Olympic experience she skated with the Icecapades before moving to Colorado at the request of the South Suburban Ice Arena, where she now coaches future hopefuls.
Fox started on rollerblades and didn't turn to skating till she was about 16. The gold medalists for ice dancing in 1984 were Great Britain's Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean.
Among Fox's notable teammates at the Sarajevo games were Scott Hamilton and Kitty and Peter Carruthers.
