GREELEY - Clarence Pinkstaff was sentenced in Weld County District Court on Thursday to 10 years to life in prison for sexual assault on a child by one in a position of trust, a class three felony, and sexual exploitation of children, a class four felony.
A jury convicted Pinkstaff in November 2013 of showing an 8-year-old girl a pornographic video and touching her sexually while he and his wife were babysitting the girl and her brother in the Pinkstaff home, according to court records.
Authorities also found more than 20 images of child pornography in his possession. Pinkstaff worked as a building manager at the Greeley-Evans School District, but the crime did not occur on school grounds.
