KUSA - The University of Colorado has had a lot of their players play in the NFL, but Paul Richardson is breaking new ground.
No Buffs athlete has ever run as fast at the NFL Combine as Richardson ran on Sunday.
Richardson ran a 4.40 flat impressing all those on hand and bumping him up to perhaps an early second round pick according to those in the know.
Richardson decided to leave Boulder early - following his junior season -to pursue his lifelong dream of playing in the National Football League. The wide receiver set records this season in Boulder with 83 receptions and 1,343 yards.
Richardson leaves Colorado with 29 records in all.
