World Spay Day is Tuesday, some events on Monday

KUSA - Tuesday is a day the Humane Society and others have set aside to remind pet owners that spaying and neutering is a humane, effective way to reduce the pet population.

In Colorado, there are events in many counties. In Denver, here are some places to take your pet:

Feb. 24 and 25
Cat spay and neutering is free
Denver Animal Shelter
1241 W. Bayaud
Surgeries are on a first-come, first-served basis.
They can fix 80 to 100 total cats each day during the waived fee spay/neuter clinics on Feb 24 and 25.
