KUSA- With gas prices on the rise, wouldn't it be nice to have someone or something tell you when and where to fill up so you beat the price hikes?
Sounds like you may have an app for that but there's a website that says they go one step further.
It's called fuelcaster.com.
The site claims it can predict if local gas prices rise or fall with 90 percent accuracy. It's a division of Allstate, the insurance company.
The website claims that if you type in your zip code they will know what the gas price trend is in your area.
They will advise you to fill up because they claim to know when prices are going up, or they advise you to wait to fill up because prices will get better in a few days.
Sound too good to be true? Some experts say it is.
But is any of the site accurate?
