Clark was convicted of the murder of Denver Broncos cornerback Darrent Williams on Thursday. Williams was shot and killed early on New Year's Day 2007.

"People understand that you can get killed in a gang. People understand that you can get incarcerated. This is a tragic incident, but there's probably going to be more if we don't do something to really curtail this problem and really do the right thing in stopping it, which is stopping kids from joining gangs in the first place," Terrance Roberts with the Prodigal Son Initiative said.

Roberts turned his life around and now runs the Prodigal Son Initiative. It provides kids exposed to gangs in their neighborhoods with after-school activities and exposure to a better way of life.

Roberts says the Clark conviction will not scare gang members straight, but he hopes it will be a powerful example to others of the need for more prevention.
