The hospital group announced a new smart phone app that gives ER wait times for adults and children in all eight of their emergency rooms, including the Level I Trauma center at Swedish Medical Center, Sky Ridge Medical Center and all locations of the Rocky Mountain Hospital's for Children.
"We believe it's important to consumers and patients in times of emergency because in emergencies every second matters," said Allen Harrison, Chief Opperating Officer for Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center.
The new program will also be available online and will include the nearest HealthONE ER (available with GPS enacted phones), driving directions, 911 call connect and direct dial calling with the ER. The program also allows you to find a specialist or primary care doctor and make an appointment online.
The LocalER app can be obtained at the website: www.healthonecares.com, or by texting "ER" to720-523-3888. You can also access the information at the website on your home computer.
HealthONE wants to remind you that if your injury or illness is life threatening call 911 immediately.
