A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held Monday for the new Denver Workforce Center in Montbello.
The center opened last fall and recently underwent a major expansion. The staff at the center hopes to give job seekers more opportunities to connect to employers.
"What we hope to do here at the Denver Workforce Center is as people walk through these doors, that we will do everything we can to make sure they will be gainfully employed," Hancock said.
There are several workforce centers across the state that provide employment and training services at no charge.
