Jenna Espinoza is proud to say she is a Colorado native and a graduate of Colorado State University. Jenna says it's a dream come true to be returning home to Denver. She grew up in Evergreen and graduated from Conifer High School. Jenna grew up watching 9 News and always dreamt of becoming part of their award winning team.
Jenna began her career in Salinas, California working for the KION, Channel 46. There she worked as a Reporter and Producer but also learned how to work as a Photojouralist, Editor and even her own Live Truck Operator.
Prior to that, education was her primary focus. Jenna participated in two professional internships in the Denver Metro area including KCEC, the Denver Univisión Affiliate and KMGH Denver's Channel 7.
Jenna has a passion for traveling and in the spring of 2008, she carried 12 Higher Division credits at La Universidad de las Americas in Puebla, Mexico. There, she lived with a Mexican family for six months who helped show her the country and taught her their language and customs. At the age of 17, Jenna traveled for a semester to Spain in her initial pursuit of becoming bilingual. Today, Jenna continues to work on her Spanish speaking abilities and loves to travel. She is thrilled to be back at home and close to family and friends and the beautiful Rocky Mountains.
