The MKZ Sedan is one of seven new or revamped Lincolns that will go on sale by 2015.
Experts believe having a different name will help Lincoln disassociate from Ford, which is regarded as a cheaper brand.
The new brand is recalling Lincoln's storied past, when vehicles such as the Continental was at the peak of luxury.
With the new brand, the vehicle company is extending its business to China.
Lincoln representative Jim Farley talked further about expanding to China.
"Well, outside of North America, the market we are really focused on now is China. We have announced just recently that Lincoln will go to China in 2014. And we will have an exclusive dealer network that will only sell Lincoln. And a world class experience. One of the reason why Chinese are so interested in Lincoln is it has such a beautiful ninety-year history. They really want to know more about Lincoln. They love authentic luxury brands like Lincoln that have a beautiful past," Farley said.
Before Lincoln was bought by Ford in 1992, it was known as the Lincoln Motor Co.
