DENVER (AP) - Colorado agriculture officials have released all quarantine and hold orders associated with a horse that tested positive for a potentially fatal virus.

The affected 6-year-old gelding from Texas was part of a team that pulled a stagecoach during rodeo performances during the National Western Stock Show in January. Other horses from the team were quarantined after the gelding tested positive for equine herpesvirus. The Colorado Department of Agriculture said Thursday that the others didn't test positive, and the quarantine has been released.

The virus isn't transmissible to people but can sometimes cause death in horses.
