KUSA - It could be another busy weekend for rescue teams heading out to avalanche calls around the state. Backcountry avalanche danger continues to become more and more dangerous.

Near Copper Mountain, teams with Summit County Rescue Group spent Saturday morning working on rapid avalanche deployment. A mix of cold and warm temperatures, along with new snow, has made avalanche danger in the summit county area dangerous.

Over the next few weekends teams will be working on their backcountry avalanche rescue skills.
