AURORA - The Aurora man facing charges after eight homemade pipe bombs were found inside his home waived his preliminary hearing.
The hearing was scheduled for Monday.
Michael Grover, 55, was arrested after a fire broke out in his home, and the bombs were discovered.
He was formally charged on Feb. 25 with nine counts. He is charged with eight counts possession of an explosive/incendiary device and one count of reckless endangerment.
A bomb squad spent more than 36 hours investigating the scene last week. Neighbors in the area were evacuated during the investigation.
Eight pipe bombs were found, as well as bomb-making materials, by police.
Grover has been at the Arapahoe County Jail on $1 million bond.
