BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - Authorities say a 55-year-old man suspected of robbing a Boulder bank feigned a heart attack during his arrest.
The Daily Camera reports James William Cranfill struggled with police and yelled as he was being handcuffed near downtown Boulder on Thursday. Authorities say he then faked a heart attack and was taken to a nearby hospital.
Cranfill is accused of entering the FirstBank at the corner of Pearl and 28th streets March 16 and handing a teller a note demanding money. The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
