KUSA- A marijuana grow likely sparked a fire inside a Larimer County garage.
Larimer County Sheriff's deputies and the Glacier View Fire Department responded to a home in the 1000 block of Happy Jack Road Monday morning.
Initially there was concern the fire could expand into a wildland fire, but crews managed to get it under control.
About 60 marijuana plants were destroyed in the fire.
Investigators believe the fire was caused by an overloaded electrical box which was providing power to the marijuana grow. Marijuana grows typically have high electrical requirements to power lights and fans.
The Larimer County Sheriff's Office says the grow was legal. Criminal charges are not likely.
