KUSA - Some Colorado residents may remember the story of John Wright and his students Jonathan Harrison and Andrew Kent who were all battling leukemia at the same time.
9NEWS has some sad but encouraging news to share with its viewers. Wright and Harrison both passed away in 2011. But, in their memory, Wildcats for the Wright Cause started the Wright Cause Benevolence Fund to help other families in the community who are fighting cancer.
On Friday, a community walk was held to raise awareness and to encourage people to become a bone-marrow donor.
