BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - The Boulder County Coroner's Office has released the name of a 46-year-old bicyclist who was killed when he was struck by a vehicle in Lyons.
The Daily Camera reports Michel Van Duym of Boulder was hit by an SUV on Main Street just after 5 p.m. Saturday and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The sheriff's office says the driver, 69-year-old Patrick Allen Ward, was arrested on charges of vehicular homicide, DUI and careless driving resulting in death. He is accused of driving on the wrong side of the road.
