KUSA - One baby was ready to join the world faster than his parents had hoped Sunday morning.
At 8:40 a.m., a woman gave birth to the baby boy on the side of Interstate 25.
By the time a Colorado State Patrol trooper arrived, the baby was already born, thanks to the help of his dad and an emergency operator who guided him through the process. An ambulance arrived shortly after.
The family was taken to Poudre Valley Hospital. Both mother and baby are doing well.
