MONTROSE - A murder mystery may be one step closer to being solved after a woman's remains were reconstructed.
On July 7, 1994, a woman's remains were found in Montrose County on the Uncompahgre Plateau, near the area known as Windy Point. Now, officials believe they reconstructed an accurate portrayal of the woman's facial features when she was alive.
The victim is believed to be a white female between the ages of 35 and 45. She was suspected to be between 5 feet 4 inches to 5 feet 7 inches tall with reddish-brown hair.
The autopsy reports show this victim suffered from Temporo-Mandibular Joint Syndrome (TMJ), Scoliosis, and lateral kyphosis of the spine.
