Two men wanted for assaulting CU-Boulder student

BOULDER - The University of Colorado Boulder Police Department is looking for two men wanted for an assault.

Police were called out at 1:19 a.m. Friday to the Broadway Street and Euclid Avenue pedestrian underpass on the west side of the CU campus.

According to a press release, witnesses say two men approached a group of students and reportedly made derogatory statements including the fact that one of the individuals resembled a noted DJ and recording artist of Asian descent. 

A male CU student overhead the comment, intervened in the conversation and punched one of the suspects. The two suspects proceeded to punch and kick the that man before fleeing to the east.

The CU student was transported to the hospital. He has serious injuries to his face, including fractures and broken bones.

  • 5 feet 9 inches to 5 feet 10 inches
  • Skinny build
  • Long brown hair
  • Wearing a gray shirt, shorts, and black socks

  • White Male
  • College aged
  • 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches
  • Buzzed blond hair
  • Wearing a black shirt and jeans
