DENVER - A high-speed chase ended in the arrest of a person who had about eight outstanding warrants.
According to Denver Police, just before 9 a.m. in the 4800 block of Bannock Street, police officers came across a suspicious vehicle parked in a parking lot.
They did a background search and determined the owner of the vehicle had approximately eight outstanding warrants - a few of which were for felonies.
When police tried to contact the owner of the vehicle - later identified as 37-year-old Joshua Guess - took off in the car.
Officers pursued Guess and were able to stop him around West 84th Avenue and Conifer Road.
At that point, Guess was taken into custody.
No one was injured during the high-speed pursuit.
