KUSA - New Jersey is where Super Bowl XLVIII will be on Sunday, but New York is actually the one getting all the credit and the revenue.

If you look at social media and newspapers headlines, everyone is saying "New York Super Bowl," and that has New Jerseyites upset that their state isn't getting the credit.

"The fact that they play New Jersey, we kind of don't get any mention," Jorge Quijano, a New Jersey resident, said.

Additionally, everyone is staying in New York. The cabs are getting the fare, and the hotels and the entertainment are all in New York.

East Rutherford's mayor says it's unlikely his town will cash in much from hosting the Super Bowl. He says tax revenue from the town's five hotels will provide a slight bump but is skeptical that it will reap many more benefits.
