"Whatever you do in life make sure you have fun doing it." Advice my grandfather gave when I was young.
With that I knew the career path of a photojournalist would be just that, fun. From the beginning I had a goal to work and learn from the best at K*USA.
I received a Bachelor of Arts with an emphasis in broadcasting, from Mesa State College in 1993.
Soon after college my journey to K*USA began. I started with a short stint at KJCT in Grand Junction, Colorado with stops at KKTV, Colorado Springs; KSTU, Salt Lake City, Utah; KPNX and KNXV in Phoenix, Arizona.
I have now been at K*USA since September 2000 serving in a number of different roles.
I began my career with K*USA as a sports photojournalist before moving to the assignment desk and eventually to a general news photojournalist, which I love.
Along the way I have had the honor of covering everything from the red carpet at the Academy Awards to the Columbine shooting to a number of Olympic games.
I have had the honor and privilege of covering the '96 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia the '02 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, Utah, and most recently the 2006 Winter Olympics in Torino, Italy.
