Forty acres of lights will illuminate the Denver Zoo.

Featuring more than 200 Asian lanterns of various shapes, sizes and colors, visitors can waltz through the Denver Zoo's new Toyota Elephant Passage.

The Sea of Lights showcases whales, an octopus and seahorses frolicking around.

Kids can ride the Zoo Train Experience while listening to the story of extinct animals and learn why it is important to help animals.

Naughty and nice girls and boys can visit Santa from Friday until Dec. 23.

Icecarvers will show off their skills Sundays through Thursdays from 6 to 8 p.m.

On Nov. 24, Dec. 19 and Dec. 31, Bunk with the Beasts will let kids explore how wild animals adapt to winter habitats and sleep overnight at the zoo.

Zoo Lights runs from Friday until Jan. 2 from 5:30 to 9 p.m.
