DENVER - One look at the red jerseys, and you can tell they're not from here.

"We're all transplants of California," smiled Juan Onofre, as he sat next to four of his fellow booster club members for San Francisco 49ers fans in Denver.

The group formed this past summer, and it didn't take long for membership to grow to more than 600. During the 49ers last game, which got them a ticket to the Super Bowl, it seemed like all 600 fans were inside the Icehouse Tavern in LoDo.

"It's fantastic," Josh Finocchiro, of Icehouse Tavern, said. "They're bringing in more and more business every week."

He thinks that Super Bowl Sunday could be one of their biggest days of the year.
"We have had to triple, almost quadruple some of our orders," he said.

Only five miles away, another restaurant worker is having the same experience.

"It's going to be nuts [on Superbowl Sunday]," predicts Chopper's Sports Grill manager K.C. Lucas.

Chopper's has become the official home of Ravens fans in Denver. The group has had so many fans seeking seats in Chopper's that they've had to limit access to the room that's reserved for them.

"We see people who come in the back room, sometimes, just to look because they hear all of the screaming," Ravens Fan Phil Hyatt said. "It's a great friendly atmosphere here, too."

While the fans are grateful to have a space to watch the game, the restaurants are also grateful for the business that the fans generate.

"Having the influx that we know we can count on, weekly, is a big difference," Lucas said.
