He set up surveillance cameras and caught the thieves in the act. Neighbors in the Lowry neighborhood say they have had items like scooters, lanterns, lights, and bikes stolen over the past year.

At first, Dave Miller thought his kids were leaving their scooters and bikes at the park or at their friends' houses, but after he put up a few cameras he began to see thieves sneaking on to his property in the middle of the night.

"I felt so violated," Miller said. "On camera you can see one guy on the lookout while the other guy walks up and takes my daughter's bike."

The crime spree has been going on since August. Miller said someone went into his garage and took an iPad out of his car.

He said dozens of items have been stolen from his yard and many of his neighbors. Miller said no one called police because they thought the items taken were too small.

Now that the criminals have been caught on tape, Miller said he'll be going to police to file a report.
