KUSA - A convicted criminal who escaped as he was being escorted to Denver International Airport on Tuesday has been caught in Scotts Bluff County, Nebraska.
Immigration Custom Enforcement agents are still waiting for fingerprint confirmation although they believe they have their man.
Phoday Dumbuya, 25, got away from two ICE agents on airport property. He was being deported to Gambia. Dumbuya was not in handcuffs.
Dumbuya was convicted in 2008 of assault and was sentenced to two years of probation.
