Peter talked about his most recent nomination on the morning show today. It's for his CD, called "Light Body", which was written for a project involving a Hospice. He calls it healing music. It's soothing and often uplifting and can help calm the soul.
The musician told us every time he's gone to the Grammys he's had a great time. He's met lots of stars like Sting, Robert Palmer and others. And while he's greatful to be nominated, Peter says his real reward is just people's reaction to his music. He's been told it has played a big part in the lives of some of some of his fans. That, he says, is reward enough.
Peter is going to be a special guest at a concert in Boulder Friday and Saturday with vocalist Snatam Kaur. And then it's off to the Grammys, and remember - the eighth time is a charm.
